Wee Envelope with Debby – I couldn’t resist this ingenious little sweater from one of my favorite designers! Sized from 0-48 months, the sleeves and yoke are worked in one piece beginning at the left cuff. The yoke is divided for front and back, then rejoined to complete the right sleeve. The wide overlapping neck makes for easy dressing. I-cord worked as you go gives a smooth finish to the neck opening and forms integrated buttonloops. Stitches are picked up around the base of the completed yoke and the body is worked downwards in the round, so this pattern offers lots of clever techniques to add to your knitting inventory. Purchase and download from Ravelry, or we can sell it to you at the shop. Requires size #4 needles (22 stitches and 32 rows = 4 inches in st st)for working in the round on sleeves and body (although the yoke is worked straight), and 240-510 yards of dk weight yarn. You will also need stitch markers, scrap yarn and 4 small buttons.
